I think this offense would be enough to beat anyone this season if we don't make mistakes. But that is kind of a huge gamble with a young team.
What offense. We have no identity. Havent in ages Les doesn't see he must to get out of the way so we can develop one. Not hamstring it. But he coaches scared on that side of the ball and that's not doing them any favors.
We would have an identity if we didn't make so many mistakes. Our identity is a power run football team. Only problem is that we can't throw the ball consistently, turn it over, and commit penalties. We clear all that up, start catching the ball, limit turnovers, you would see a different team.
False. Their identity is based on what they do well not what you imagined it to be. We do nothing well hence no identity. We cannot run inside effectively if at all due to an injured oline and overrated backups apparently. And we failed to develop a passing game yet now we suddenly need one. We have to find what we do best and adapt. So far its nothing That's what coaching is all about. Matchups and adapting your personnel.
I think we are essentially on the same page here. I agree with you, however I feel that if our receivers weren't dropping passes, we still had Chris Faulk, we weren't committing so many penalties to keep us behind the chains and giving us 3rd and longs, we would have that identity. As it is now all these cards are stacked against us so it gives opposing defenses the go ahead to load the box and stop the run.
