I don't know about dumbest, but it's pretty high up there!!! I'm glad the report didn't show a lot of nefarious activity.
... Martin evidently thinks all Christians believe God is a genie in a lamp, who grants wishes when asked.
again, i am not the one who claims to know of magical healing through prayer. for all you know, schiavo could have been magically cured. is that so different than the genie in the lamp? you literally believe in prayer healing. what is prayer if not asking a magic man for wishes? isnt that exactly what you are sure works on occasion? do you or do you not believe that prayer and faith can heal?
Call me what you want, dumbest? What dumb is we are suppose to believe what an examiner says is the gospel truth when we are learning all the time that things we believe to be the truth about science often is discovered to be not 100% correct. I'll tell you something else, why is it that there were doctors on both sides of this issue that were saying completely different things? That wouldn't be the case if the medical examiner was 100% correct. It sounds like from what I heard there were more questions than answers but I hope the medical examiner is 100% correct or this country is in serious trouble. Dumb is believing everything you hear, that is dumb! I'm skeptical about some things so i'm dumb well so are you! :hihi:
You are missing my point entirely. God heals who He will. Just because I ask for healing means neither it is His will nor the healing will take place. In fact, Scripture teaches that the only time prayers are assured to be answered are when they are sent from the Holy Spirit.
I did not call you dumb, and I agree with that statement. The ME's findings, however, corroborate the X-Ray and cat scan evidence. Of course it could be the case. X-rays and Cat scans showed huge sections of liquefied brain. The ME corroborated this. The doctors that said otherwise noticed her reactions to light and sound and posited that there might be some possibility for rehabilitation. The family was claiming that she was visually recognizing and communicating with them, yet the ME examined the sections of brain that process visual data and determined blindness. Also, he determined it would have been impossible for Terri to feed herself without a tube. Again, I would have to have been there to make an informed judgment but based on the medical evidence that I've seen the correct decision was made.
then why not keep schaivo alive and hope that god heals her? havent you told us before of miracle healing? and you dont even need to waste time praying because god heals who he will. man that is convenient. why bother asking or praying? god doesnt listen, he "heals who he will". how is god gonna heal her if we pull her plugs? maybe god was busy and was gonna get around to it. how can you be sure it wasnt on god's healing schedule?
TigerRagAndrew, My post wasn't directed at you at all, it was directed at YnotUs. Let's assume for just a minute that the medical examiner determined from his results that it was 100% in favor of the Schindlers and their doctors findings and not the Schiavo side. Do we all think the truth would've came out then, my answer is NO. That would rip this country apart IMHO, I could be wrong but I'll bet i'm right.
