Which came first? The chicken? Or the egg??

Is it: I told him to straighten up...He didn't, so he's gone.

OR: He told me to starigten up....so I'm transferring.

Whatever the case, it sounds like a petty Jr. High breakup. "I broke up with you." ..."NOOOOOoooo! I broke up with YOU."

Big Urnge spring drills ended with Clausen and Ainge tied for the starting job. Schaeffer was working with the DB's. Clausen has obviously mastered the 5 yard pass, look out for that 10 yard deep threat!

Tennessee's defense hadn't allowed a TD during spring scrimmages. Toss in the number they did on Texas a$m in the Cotton Bowl and the media reads this as how powerful the Vols will be defensively. I'm of a different opinion, taking into consideration the game Tennessee played in November. Notre Dame, Alabama, Kentucky, and Vandy gave the Vols all they could handle. All four of these teams had anemic offenses and moved the ball with some success. So...

If Rick Clausen is actually in the running for the starting QB job and the UT offense can't score on that defense, this has to be the most overrated team going into the fall.

Character issues will help bring UT down this season. This could be 1988 again in Knoxville. Fulmer canned by game 7...

So far today we have had him being kicked off, him leaving on his own and now the mutual agreement deal.

    Basically:

"After many discussions with Brent regarding several issues, we've reached a mutual agreement that it is in everyone's best interest for him to leave the University of Tennessee," Fulmer said in a statement released by the team. Schaeffer's family in Florida declined to comment and the player could not immediately be reached.
