Great quick drive with a horrible ending. Peterson should've had a TD and JJ may have crossed the line...but either way we're not getting it done.
Tennessee are playing with a lot of emotion and are doing their best to keep the game close. LSU seem to be a little sleepy on both sides of the ball, but they're a second half team anyway and I expect this will be the case today. I wonder if they're not just going through the motions and looking ahead to Auburn and Bama. Maybe they don't see Tennessee as a legit opponent and just want to get through the game with a minimum of injuries. Playing Tennessee on the road is tough, and I think they've done acceptably up to this point, with a ten point lead and receiving the ball to start the next half. They'll be fine.
Unless the Tigers shutout and score a few tds in the 2nd half, do they deserve the #1 ranking against a mediocre Vols team. Yeah, the Vols always give the Tigers fits but the BCS doesn't care about that and the rankings come out tomorrow.
There's room for improvement for the LSU second half ! If we can win by 10 points, we should be fine with the rankings.
