Not true. Teams that undergo several major changes are going to experience both. It's just part of the process and even Saban can attest to that! Saban lost to UAB in his year at LSU, ULM in his first year at Alabama, lost by 40 to Nebraska in his first year at MSU and lost by 38 to Stanford in his second year at MSU. In Saban's first four years at MSU, he averaged just six wins and six losses! In his first year at Alabama, he went 7-6! Be realistic. Great times are ahead for LSU, but give CBK the chance to run off the remaining sewer rats (not saying all of O's players are bad, but there are a few) left behind by O and bring in his own players. Currently, 95 percent of the players on the roster are not his players, so he's doing the best he can with what he was left with. Realistically, we're one missed FG away from being 5-1, but I'm happy with 4-2 considering everything this program has gone through. It will all come together eventually, if we all just have a little patience and faith! Geaux Tigers!
Last post about the Tenn game. First Hooked is extremely good plus he is a mature man he's 24. Second we all know what a QB like Joe Burrow can do for your team, you win championships. Third their OL and WR's are very very good. Fourth we ran into a buzz saw. Lastly our coaches had a bad game but this is this staff's first year and yes coaches have sub par games just as teams and players do. We will get better
I think they are playing what they think is their best QB. Last time I checked there are eleven players on offense. The problems on offense go beyond the QB position. Anyone that knows anything about football knows you can't expect Kelly to turn around the mess he inherited over night.
Yes our coaches did have a bad game. I have been very high on our DC (Matt House), but think he may have over thought how to stop Hendon Hooker. It’s never a good move to design a defense that sidelines a dynamic playmaker like Perkins for most of the game.
