Once in a blue moon he hits the nail. Glancing blow and now it's crooked but once in a blue moon

Perple I usually agree with you, but we definitely aren't on the same page about the UT game. The reality is Tennessee was just a better team than we were and it was clear to anyone who watched the game. If you remember last year, the Vols struggled and went through a lot of growing pains, but you could tell they had glimpses of going in the right direction. The same is happening at LSU. We've had glimpses of great football here and there, but we've had more bad plays than good plays because these players are all playing together in a real football game for the first time ever. CBK is doing his best with the talent he was left, which wasn't a lot. Consider the talent that left - Ricks, Gilbert, McGlothern, Palmer, D. Smith, Johnson, D. Lee, L. Jackson and Kiner - and that's a lot to replace no matter who you are.

The reality is he took over a massive pile of shit left by O and it's going to take time to turn it around. The biggest obstacle CBK faced was changing the culture around the program. Unlike O, who let the players run the program into the ground, CBK had to come in and basically rid the program of rats and then start from scratch rebuilding the program. The reality is offensively or defensively we don't have strong leaders and that's paramount in building a winning culture. Offensively, Boutte should be the leader, but he's become more of a cancer on the team and done more harm than good. Defensively, Ojulari is the best player, but he's not a vocal leader and Gaye, who everyone expected to have a breakout year, has been a big disappointment.

We just have to remember better times are ahead, but there will be a lot of bumps and bruises along the way.

BK married to JD, Polian, Denbrock, Hankton, and Sloan is going to be a tough pill to swallow if we continue looking as bad as AU and TN. Especially if we don’t give Nussmeyer a chance. If Nussmeyer is given a real chance and fails, well f it.

Pretty down on BK at the moment. This dude has won every where he’s been, he can’t be this dumb, right?

If this hire blows up in Woodward’s face, Woodward needs to go also.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Right now the only assistant that should be under the microscope is Brad Davis but I think he should be given time to get actual talent into his squad. Second "might" be Sloan.

The biggest ST breakdowns have been muffed returns lost by arguably our 2 best receivers...I assume tackling fundamentals should be taught daily by the position coaches those players are officially listed under. Those coaches at least share some of the blame with Polian.

I'm not opposed to seeing Kelly either bring in a special team guru to the staff as a consultant or hire an ST coach and have Polian devote 100% of his time to recruiting/transfer portal.

I don't see an issue with how Hankton has the receivers playing (JD seems to be the breakdown in that equation) and Denbrock - on balance - has done a pretty good job calling plays to fit the personnel he has.

Woodward needs to go? Lol...do you also do stand up comedy in addition to that?

Extrapolating 6 games, plus O, plus Miles. Maybe ol’ BK can turn it around. I was up on BK after the rent-a-wins, stock dropped after AU, but all-time low following TN beat down.

I wasn't a fan of the hire when it happened, I'm less of a fan now. I'll give him time but I think this is about what we can expect. This is what we get for 100 million dollars.
