Ugh..... Football, in general, and no matter what league it is played, is a sport for entertainment. Some folks are easily entertained by the outcome and some are entertained by the path taken towards the outcome. Then there is, OMG, the crowd that actually enjoys the path to a winning outcome. Regardless, everyone should be entertained and if you are not, then there are fan forums where you can discuss the path or the outcome, whichever you please. Some like to discuss the path and share metrics that decide the path, same as the outcome. What gets confusing are those who demand to be respected for their version of the outcome which, is a parody of the path or simply, the outcome. What we have done over the course of this season, similar to past seasons is to pass judgement on those who have a particular variety for being entertained. Somewhere in the middle, and what gets lost is justifiably why someone can or cannot be entertained in the very way that fulfils their level of entertainment. It is kinda dumb why someone would disengage with someone else's version of being entertained to sustain their own version of entertainment when in the end, it matters differently to many over the outcome. That is normally called a discussion. Some, however, would rather argue the outcome rather than the path taken to the outcome. So the difference really is, is it a discussion or rather, an argument? I for one was not entertained with a running back not wanting to score...TWICE all in an effort to whatever the fuck they were trying to do but aligning my version of entertainment with that of their own or... the few that just enjoy winning. I don't place an opinion on those willing to just win, but rather differ from their form of entertainment. I'm not sure what is more exhausting, this post or the stupid fucking argument?
I really don't understand why Brossette refused to cross the goal line unless he had bet on the piggies. TD makes it a 14 point game and beats the spread.
To tell the truth, I’m surprised I have not seen more on Brosette refusing to score. Would think someone/something would be digging in to that. Reeks of some deal with the point spread. Anything going on down there about this?
Think about that for a second then think about what we're talking about in this thread. That mentality certainly supports what tirk is saying. When an RB forgoes a phuckin touchdown thinking it's a better way to win...Lmao
