Lynn Swann is a figure head who doesn't know shit about management, hiring, or firing. The interim president is a nerdy female engineer. USC is well and truly fucked. Here's another Tell the Truth ditty for you.....back in 5th grade when I was a budding feminist, I asked the teacher why he always handed the football off to the boys during flag football and never gave any girls a chance. So he says, we're gonna call the Statue of Liberty play and you'll be getting the ball. I ran my ass off, smug as a caterpillar in a tight cocoon, thinking I'd out run all the boys. I did....sorta. But that's only because it didn't make much sense to chase someone going the wrong way. I did have a teammate running behind me calling all sorts of names. Good news though...I hadn't scored yet so I figured, what the hell, start running back the right direction. They all thought I was batshit crazy at that point so they just stood there and I almost scored. So hey, it wasn't college, it wasn't even high school, but it did start me off knowing a thing or two about the game. And I bet I could have laid John Clayton out like a freight train. Bottom line, @tirk nailed it.

They along with the Board of Trustees are focused almost completely on rising up the academic rankings and gaining ground on fundraising compared to Stanford. It's all about the money. All you have to do is look at how Pat Haden handled the sanctions. We literally grabbed our ankles and spread. Everyone else who has fought their issue has had their sanctions reduced and moved along. Pat had no idea what he was doing so he listened to Pete Carroll and brought in sarkisian. Sarkisian was a drunk who started the latest drive downward. The school just does not put money into the football program anymore. Now we have a coliseum with 30,000 fewer seats but the price has gone through the roof. They have priced out the long-time supporters and catered to corporations and the super wealthy. Attendance is as bad as it's been since Hackett was the coach in the 90s.
