Truth is we could be 10 - 0 and a lot of posters on this board wouldn't be happy.

Once I got to this part I said "he has already become Les" and bam, you got there.

I don't however think his leash will be as long as what Les had and it shouldn't. We ran Les out of town because he refused to put an offense on the field. I hope they stress this to Ed. We have weapons, we have talent in the state. He needs to figure out how to use them.

When does the price of that buyout come down? 2 more years before I think its manageable?

Only the ones that watch a football game for more than the final score.

Hey, I would take the job as well! Can't fault him for that. Just fault Joe!

Oueax, like Miles, can be successful here and IMO, win a title. He needs to scrap everyone on offense tho. He is a very good recruiter and when he plays with balls, his players rise to the challenge. After this weekend, I feel he has already settled and doomed himself, but as you pointed out, he as already exceeded what the universe had planned for him.

    Agreed.

And the bold is why he will continue to lose games he shouldn't every year. Which will get him fired at some point.

If Oeaux loses Aranda, he is a 6-6 coach.

Thats false. WHo would NOT be happy about beating Bama? Hell, I could be happy if we beat Bama's ass and lost every other game. Why? Because with our current group of coaches this is the best it will ever be for us again.

Just a theory man. And to encourage a little dialogue on this forum that you often complain is lacking.

It may be manageable, but wouldn't we still be paying Les' buyout too or is his done by then? It might not be manageable added on top of his. And realistically, I don't see the powers that be paying 2 buyouts at the same time, in addition to money for another coach. That said, once O moves on, however it happens, I really do hope Aranda is the next head coach. I think he could win here.

Your post was fine except for the part about O not giving a shit. Would you have preferred that I not reply?
