Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for something like 4 or 500 yards last week and they didn’t even get in the end zone.
He's "love" minded. Our center Toa Lobendahn, was a solid left tackle and should never have been moved. His bad-snap count might be in double-digits this season but Clay won't move him....loyalty he says. Toa is a great Trojan, loyal player....but he sucks at center and it makes matters worse when you consider he's snapping to a kid who should be playing high school ball this year. His over-the-head snafu on Saturday essentially cost us the win. If Clay wanted to win, he'd have put Sears in over JT and let the poor kid watch and learn instead of continually get the beat the fuck up and destroying his confidence. And he'd have moved Toa back to left tackle and given Brett Neilon a shot at center. What did Clay say about all that Saturday night after losing to kal for the first time since 2003? "Toa is one of the loves of my life." Just....phucking....shoot me.
Crazy, right? How about this. FCS school Davidson RUSHED for nearly 800 (789) yards and lost. How does that happen? They had 4 players rush for 150 or more yards and just missed having (2) 200 yard backs by 1 yard. If you're rushing 800 yards, you have to be controlling the clock, so that one is definitely a head scratcher that I would have also lost money on. http://www.espn.com/college-footbal...-rush-record-789-yards-loss-san-diego-toreros
I think klingler threw for 6 tds in one quarter against LA tech. Pretty sure that happened. That was before Tim rattay or Gary crowton.
For fun I looked up the LSU’s highest total offense in a loss since 2009, which is the 2015 Ole Miss game: 508 yards. 38-17. Who here misses Miles, Cam Cameron, and Brandon Harris? Sorry for bringing up the bad memories...
BS. Anyone complaining about the Arky game is just pissed that it didn’t live up to their personal expectation about how we should have won. Miles ball got old cause it was the same old over and over for consecutive years. Oeaux and E are in year 1, and simply don’t have the personnel this year at key positions. That doesn’t mean we haven’t ranked high in past recruiting, it just means this offense, right now, is simply not talented enough and experienced enough to score at a level seen with other teams like Clemson, Bama, and Okie, and that’s what folks here want and expect. Doesn’t mean we can’t get there eventually. If this continues for multiple years, then pull the trigger and move on. In the interim, relax and enjoy the over achievement.
If you or anyone else thinks that was an acceptable offense then you and their opinions are now nullified and void. Carry on
