Ted Kennedy being buried in Arlington

    Ted Kennedy is more eligible than you simply because he is dead and you are not.

    Well, that's probably because you disagree with him politically. Just curious, what other politician do you think has no business there?

    He served as an active member in the armed forces.

    any active-duty member of the U.S. armed forces or American veteran retired from active service

    Don't think just service cuts it. I read somewhere today, that he was eligible because he was a U.S. Senator.

    i think he deserves to be buried next to his brothers, sure he had his faults, but what person doesn't, his were just more public. His 40 years in the senate should be enough to be next to his brothers. Rest in Peace Ted.

    I agree with that. I'm okay with that. I was just wanting to know what the rules where to be buried there.
