Re: Tebow Status. We actually allow gator fans on this board:huh::insane::dis::angry::angryfireo: :cuss:
Re: Tebow Status Didn't USC lose to Washington with a back up Qb? You could say the same thing about any team with injuries in America. It happens everyday to some team.
Re: Tebow Status kill loutepper I agree with you. The media are so ignorant and spin spin spin. I remember when they picked the Gators to win by 50 to 100 points over UT. What a crock. So obviously anything less is a failure. They seem to forget how close the games are and how rank means squat when it come to rivalries. The craziest things happen. LSU has built a huge rep for winning at home a loss to anyone would be news, including me a huge Gator fan. A win should be a win period. The BCS BS is to blame for a lot of this crap. Pro teams are judged by and large if they have a w or an L in the column, not by any computation or series of polls etc. Im sick of it all. I need a beer and a couch and some good monday night football tonight. Go Gators!
Re: Tebow Status FightinGator, you're making me laugh here. You never learned how to properly write a coherent sentence. Put down the Bible's kool-aid and pick up a grammar book like the Blue Book of Grammar and Punctuation. Start with the proper use of commas. Spell Check loves you and dies every time you make a mistake. Te-blow, however, is not a great guy. He is a Gaytor and, thus, remains a rival. I don't care how many souls he has saved, how many yards he has racked up, or how many penises he has circumsized. Tell you what, give Urban Cryer a call and tell him to whiteout some forms and allow Te-blow to play so I can watch, along with 92,000 LSU fans, Chad Jones blow through a hole on a free-saftey blitz and witness "The Gasp Heard Around The World." :geauxtige
Re: Tebow Status It's not just about Tebow & Florida. There is no way Tim is going to be "right" for this game. If they tell him to just stay in the pocket what do you think the chances of that are?? The 1st time things break down his instincts will take over & he will try to run it. To then ask LSU's defenders to "ease up" is totally unfair to them. Even worse how would you like to be the LSU kid who drills him and then maybe feels responsible for possibly ending his career both NCAA & NFL? I've read of boxers who critically injured or killed another fighter who, even though it wasn't intentional, quit boxing or were never the same after that. Why should our kids be put into that position? Brantley is a really good QB. Play him and take your chances. End of rant!
Re: Tebow Status As far as LSU is concerned, I don't think that Tebow's status is relevant to how we prepare. We should prepare with the thought in mind that their QB will hand it off, or sit in the pocket and throw it. Whether it be Tebow or Brantley, he will hand it off or throw it. We don't have to worry about a running QB and I would think that we would prepare thusly. If Tebow is in there, he just won't run it.
Re: Tebow Status. This just in... Tebow cannot play until he is cleared by a doctor. This just in...Coach Meyer given honorary doctorate by the University of FL...
Re: Tebow Status I wish you the best. It will be a great game by two great teams. I will continue to pray no injuries occur, for either team. Go Gators!
