While the kiddies watched Taylor, the adults jammed with Rush in New Orleans. They were freakin' awesome!
I will say this about that show, it had the best sound system, lights and visual effects I've ever seen, and I've seen Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Tool, Korn, been to Voodoo, and countless raves and festivals, nothing came close to the set up in this show. The music was ok, it wasn't great, but it was definitely worth it, and my kid had a blast.
Voodoo fest can't get here fast enough, that reminds me I need to get my tickets... Crud I missed the early sign up, guess its full price.
Just curious how you swung that, considering every pre-teen girl in attendance was probably hoping to do the same thing. Wish I would have known about it sooner so I could have taken my little girl.
I didn't know this until recently, but in addition to writing her own music (which is more than I can say for all of those pre-fabricated Disney cross over actresses), she also does her own set designs too, so that's pretty impressive considering the names of the other artists you mentioned. I probably know way more about her than I should, but she's my daughter's favorite singer, so what can I say?
I'm not gonna buy tickets when I don't know who is gonna be there. I will say this, I'll never make the mistake of bringing my wife to a concert again.
