.507 now over the last 17 games.

he will get at least 2 more chances to get a single. probably 3.

If no one gets on in the 6th, he'll lead off the 7th.

after the fact but I was going to ask if delcarmen was in to blow the lead yet after this weekend in houston. when they struggle, they struggle for a couple weeks it seems. or more.

also, arod is not human. this after his wife left him for lenny kravitz.

edit: they were down 1 when i posted it. longoria almost clears the bases.

Reports: A-Rod's wife to file for divorce
Posted on Sun, Jul. 06, 2008

    The Associated Press
New York Yankees' Alex Rodriguez swings his bat with a weight on it during batting practice before the Yankees face the Boston Red Sox in the first game of a four-game baseball series at Yankee Stadium in New York, Thursday, July 3, 2008.

    MIAMI --
Alex Rodriguez's wife will file for divorce Monday, according to media reports. Cynthia Rodriguez, who married the New York Yankees star in 2002, said the marriage is over because of the All-Star third baseman's extramarital affairs, according to reports that appeared Sunday on the Web sites of Houston television station KTRK and The Miami Herald.

The reports come just days after Alex Rodriguez was linked to Madonna in various media outlets and Cynthia Rodriguez's subsequent visit to the Paris home of rocker Lenny Kravitz, who said she came to France to escape the media frenzy in New York and denied that anything improper had happened.

why in god's name do the fan of Tampa not support this team?

I understand their dome is a dump, but hell, move them to New Orleans. We're good at being front runners and supporting a winner.

like miami its mostly american transplants and foreigners. they have no allegiance in those sports or more specifically, those teams.

i think soccer would carry a following regardless.
