Has there been an official press release of all of this, or is it just speculation? I'm not doubting anyone, just wondering to what extent this is known to the public.

I was bent 2 weeks ago when I got a letter from the athletic dept informing me that I was 560 on a waiting list of roughly 1100....they were expecting the first 250 people to get parking passes for the low low price of 300 bucks a season. After I got the letter, I called the athletic dept for the low down....I am sure that Skip will publish another Cyber Chat as the season approaches. The parking map (http://www.lsusports.net/assets/images/fb/04fbparkingmap-1024.jpg) has not been updated to reflect these changes, but the lot in question is in dark blue, 'The Oaks'

I was often able to "upgrade" student tickets to bring in my boyfriend. Granted I had to pay full price ($37) for him to sit in the student section but ohh well. Tell her to visit the ticket office the week before the game with a student ticket and her bank card. :hihi:

It doesn't work any more. They just re-did the ticketing system for students.

I know. I did it this last season for the then girlfriend... I was hoping to get another set of tickets so I can bring friends and family members, but that's out the window now.

You can still use a student ticket if you're not a student, you just have to upgrade it before the game.

I know I'm quoting my own post but......

I called the Athletic Dept and they said that the only change from last years map will be the addition of Parking Lot "W" which is near the new football building. The oaks will still be free. :thumb:
