GENUINE Mexican food is actually not that bad for you. In fact Hispanics in general have a much lower rate of gastrointestinal disease than other cultures. The capsaicin (what makes peppers hot) is really good for the stomach. There have even been reports of people eating jalapenos on a daily regime to help heal peptic ulcers. Do a google search on cayenne pepper and heart attacks (you'll be surprised what you find out). For you lazy people, a warm solution of cayenne pepper and water drunk at the onset of a heart attack is a nearly instant cure.

I did a good bit of research awhile back when I was suffering from some stomach issues. I incorporated serrano and jalapeno peppers into my diet daily for about a month. It hurt for a couple of days but it sure did work well. I now eat peppers whenever I can and have really acquired quite a taste for them.:thumb:
