Chris Jackson is the best college basketball player I have ever seen. If you told me LSU would have a guy come in and in his 1st 2 years avg. 29.5 pts. per game, be two time 1st team all-american, and two time SEC player of the year, you would say no way. Well that's what Jackson did. Not to metion the dozens of game winning shots and making the P-MAC the hottest ticket in town. Those were great days. I lived for LSU basketball back then.
If basketball had the 3pt shot when Pete played, his average that still stands, would be much more than 44pts a game. I saw Pete play on TV against KY when I was 14 and he was great. Jackson was a great player too. I just can't believe he turned out the way he did.
