What!! You mean I'm Syrian and never knew it? But seriously, you're right on target if the article is correct. This doesn't sound pre-organized. It sounds like a couple hundred of these guys were there and a crowd mentality took over. And crowd mentality is a product of common values - or the lack thereof. So 25 people don't spontaneously lynch someone unless they have previously rationalized it in their mind as being OK behavior. All of these guys saw unprotected women as fair game because women are considered lessor people in the world that they came from. If they would have tried that with my boss they would have had their balls shot off. She keeps a shotgun with one in the chamber leaned against the wall next to her bed; and she knows how to use the pistol in her purse. It would serve these animals right to have to piss through a plastic tube the rest of their life.
