What to do about Syria. Tell the UN that we are sitting this one out. We already have enough countries hating us. Our service men and women have sacrificed too much already. Taxpayers are tired of fitting the bill to arm, destroy and rebuild other countries. Only to have to fight those same countries later.

Well we're already sitting it out, so we don't have to deliver that message to anyone. Not doing anything is actually causing more bad feelings towards us from the people that matter to us - and that's not any of the actual combatants that I'm referring to. However, I totally agree that putting our people in the middle of this would be a huge mistake.

Why? If they kill 10,000 citizens why should we come down hard because they kill another 100 with chemical weapons. It seems like stupid policy.

Sounds like a replay of Iraq war. The same democrats that encouraged bush to attack Iraq are now supporting Barry. Must be an oil pipeline in Syria. If we attack and don't find WMD's, will they give bummer the same treatment as bush ?

There is not a side to pick in this fight and that is the dilemma Obama is struggling with. On one side you have a dictator who is willing to use chemical weapons and kill innocent civilians in rebel controlled territory. On the other side you have Al Qaeda trained foreign fighters helping the rebels.

Assad knows this so he is playing his hand. US won't do anything but take a half-measure like drop a bomb or two. Take the hard road and do nothing. The US is being manipulated into doing something. We can't help anything in the Middle East.
