Van Horn has a very successful past, Perno doesn't And many times this year, Perno's gut "failed"....I hate to sound negative but if you go to the DawgVent which I am sure MANY will know is huge bias towards UGA...even half if not more still dont like Perno if that says something.
I posted something earlier about this as to whether or not you put up your best starting pitcher in game 1. If I were Vandy, I would have pitched Sowers tomorrow and tried to win that game instead, going against Texas' #2 pitcher. And I am not saying this because Vandy is losing 5-0. Another thing to consider is to take Sowers out now and save him for tomorrow. I am thinking he could come back tomorrow since he hasn't thrown that many pitches yet.
