  1. We ran ourselves out of that inning.
  2. LSU has made some really stupid base-running decisions today. They need a course in base-running 101.
  3. Between our mistakes and all close calls going to Rice, this game is a lot closer than it should be.
  4. Bottom of the 7th:

    -Strike out, 1 out
    -LeMahieu just steals another hit!, 2 outs
    -Strike out, 3 outs

    After seven innings...

    LSU 5-9-1
    Rice 3-8-0
  5. Good thing we have a 10 foot tall 2nd baseman. Nother highlight.
  6. Top of the 8th:

    -Nola strikes out, 1 out
    -LeMahieu grounds out, 2 outs
    -Schimpf singles, runner at 1st, 2 outs
    -Dean pops up, 3 outs

    Headed to the bottom of the 8th...

  7. Nola and Mahtook were frosh baserunning bloopers (though Mahtook looked safe). I think that double steal was called in the dugout. I still like the aggressive play.

    .....however if it'd have worked then, of course, I would have loved the call.:hihi:
  9. I like being aggressive also. This game could be out of reach for Rice had a few risks gone our way.

    -Ground out, runner moves to 2nd, 2 outs
