ive seen them a few times. still a 2112 guy and im not sure why. i think because its so damn raw for these overly refined fools. in fact, i play this every time i need my fix. im excited for mc because i can tell hes jonesin'. hes gonna enjoy the f out of this. no 2 ways about it.
@tirk mentioned being raw and it reminded me of about a week or so ago in Houston I found this station that was just rocking the old stuff, like Dokken breaking the chains and some Crue Too fast for Love and it was refreshing to hear stuff that just sounded like it was made in someones garage just the way the little throw together bands we had in high school sounded. Its so imperfect and unrefined but it is good and pure in its own way. I love that stuff.
no doubt about it. its not overly edited refined crap that they spend years on perfecting now where the sound and spirit of the original musicians is completely lost. try listening to black sabbath we sold our soul for rock n roll. its like a greatest hits that sounds like it was recorded in their garage but holds up like no other. loan it to taint when you're done.
