    the seafood stuffed potato does sound awsomest. where exactly is that restaurant?


    also, everyone here knows i love to cook. ever since reading crawfish dessert, i have been curious as to if one could come up with such a thing.

    I once put crawfish into an etouffe that I was making. I know....it sounds weird, but it was great.:)

    I've had the crawfish stuffed potatoes. They were incredible!

    This thread is making me VERY hungry for crawfish, which are, of course, not easy to come by in Dallas. I won't be "home" in Baton Rouge until June...

    Should not be all that difficult to find Stacey, I get them in OKC, they are flown in of course but remarkably it's fairly reasonable. Let me know and I can get you the number to the guy I deal with.

    the place we got em was the nearest Politz's (napoleonville) which burnt down.

    the original one is in thibodaux i believe.
