How about we just make the tax code simple. Flat 25% and make the bums that use services and don't pay squat pay up.

When exactly do rich people provide jobs. They've been getting the tax break for 10 years, why haven't they hired all the jobless?

Because they haven't created jobs, they just pile up wealth that even they acknowledge that they don't need! Still, pucker-boys line up to carry their water.

Obama..... It's all Obama. The poor, pitiful rich, are too scared you see. Scared that the terrorist, muslim, anti christ is going to cripple them. At least that's the answer you are going to get.

They haven't created jobs during a period where they are seeing record profits. All goes back to voodoo economics that have failed time and time again, and have NEVER worked.

I think we can all agree that the tax code is convoluted, massive and nothing more than a method by which politicians reward their constituents with loopholes, breaks and penalties. The result is a system that is patently unfair to all Americans because it treats Americans differently which is counter to the principles that this country were founded on, which is that all Americans should be treated equally under the law.

Some sort of flat tax, VAT or similar system is need to make things simpler and more fair to all Americans, regardless of income. Poor, middle class or rich. Right now the middle class gets hit the hardest.

All that said, Buchanan says what needs to be said. Warren should PUT UP or STFU. If he thinks he doesn't pay enough, he's free to do what's right. Nothing's stopping him.

Change the tax code for the super-rich and he WILL send a check. That's what he's saying in his op-ed.

i cant imagine anything they do with that money that doesnt create jobs. they can buy stiff, that creates jobs. or they can invest it, that also creates jobs.

do you imagine they have cash bags under their bed? do you think the investments made by buffet's money at berkshire hathaway are not a boon to those companies? berk****e is a part owner of kraft, you think kraft doesnt hire people?

It's completely beside the point, anyway. Warren Buffet not sending a check has absolutely zero bearing on his point, but someone always childishly blurts that out as if it were profound and somehow telling.
