Where is the official writeup on Henson leaving? I never saw it. lsusports.net doesn't have anything on it.
The rumor is that he will leave after NSD to coach OL at Mizzou. Nothing has been official at this point.
I hear it will not be official until after national signing day. Really, we probably shouldn't be talking about it. It has to be the worst kept secret in the history of keeping secrets though...so I guess it doesn't matter.
I can only hope this is a rumor. True or not, I am so tired of the over hyping of Oh No. I have always said that any time his name is mentioned, nothing good comes of it for LSU. The guy does not like LSU, never liked LSU and I hope and pray his name is never again mentioned as a possible hire at LSU for any position.
:geaux: Would love to see Ensminger come back to LSU as TE coach. Would be great to have a former Tiger player on the staff. Hope we find out something official soon. :LSU231:
I don't know CSE personally. Everybody says he is a nice guy. I wasn't impressed with his coaching though in observing him at several practices last season. Of course lots of things were screwed up at Auburn at the time. Also, in fairness to him, I must note that he was the Acting OC at the time I watched him and I believe he is much better when he focuses on the TEs. I wish him well if he does come to LSU.
He was an up and comer when he coached QB's at Ga. then went to Texas A&M as OC. He went to Auburn to be passing game coor. and co-oc. That was a disaster, and he was moved to TE coach. I didn't know he was supposed to be a good recruiter, though.
