dude, i totally agree with you, i have no problem with the banning of cigs in public places, and strict drinking and driving laws. but if i want to snort a line of cocaine, shoot up some roids and chase it down with roofie colada while smoking a joint laced with heroin, in my own home, i should have a right to do that. not that i would for the record. ok maybe the joint part a few years ago.

good arguments though all of you, nice conversation.

And if everybody were as responsible as you we wouldn't need police, or firemen. Complicated stuff for sure. Glad I don't have to make these decisions.

If I was a HS athlete trying to get a scholarship offer, I would probably take them - as many highschoolers these days do.

I have known lots of people that have used them (anybody ever been to the rec center at LSU....), and some of them were stupid about it, while some of them did a lot of research & took it in a controlled manner. I don't have a problem with people making that choice for themselves.

I think people should be allowed to put whatever they want into their bodies.

But to what extent? A boy from Plano West Senior High killed himself a few years ago, and it was widely reported that "roid rage" was the culprit.

He was trying to get a baseball scholarship.

LaSalle, our governments view is that if they legalized heroin tomorrow, that we has people are so weak that I would have the family station wagon loaded up with grandma and grandpa and the wife and kids and we would all be out looking for a six pack of heroin and the syringes to go with it.

When my son became old enough to drive ,we had a clogged drain .I sent him to walmart to get some liquid plumber. He couldn't buy frickin liquid plumber because it is age restricted since some people use it in the processing of meth. Geez, that is frickin insane.

Personally ,i think if someone wants to snort cocaine...have at it...till your heart is content or explodes whichever comes first.

Wade Wilson was using steroids because he has diabetes and it helps his sex life are some such thing and keeps his wife happy, but since he is an nfl coach he was suspended for testing positive ....that is nuts.

So long as it doesn't effect anyone else's body.
