You gotta think Alleva would have to give him job security beyond next year. I think Alleva wants to fire Les next year. One thing we will find out is how committed alleva is to Les. If Steele stays, Alleva is committed to Les. I think Steele is gone.
C) Jumping off a sinking ship while he still has a chance. The jury is still out on Steele. He's playing with Chavis' "smaller and faster" players. That said I won't lose sleep if he leaves. This ship is already taking on water and sinking and only a matter of time before Miles takes her under. The question is how long the LSU admin will wait to start new. Judging by the cluster-fuck last month, the entire LSU admin is as useless as Miles.
