Why do you say that... AU beat them through the air... as long as JV and JA can be somewhat of a run threat, our pass game will be o.k.
Auburn ran the ball for 227 yards (the most by any team against us this year) and all three of their TDs. They had 279 yards in the air, but 62 of those came on one play (the debacle late in the 4th quarter). Statistically they had pretty good balance that day but their rushing game was absolutely the key to their victory against us.
Agree 110% The running game will either win or lose us this game. Minter's shutdown on CJ last week leads me to believe that this talk of UGA's secondary being weak or size-wise weak is BS.
If LSU plays their conservative brand of horse shyte ... short passes over the left side on first down or running always on first down, they'll maybe lose a close game if turnovers aid Georgia. WHEN LSU opens up the vertical game, GA will have no options and will get toasted for scores ... they will drop back 4 or 5 in coverage ... When that happens, LSU will run all over their ass with Addai, Vincent and even Carey. Shockley is hurt and playing less than 80% ... not running at all ... see stats on his last two games ... He'll have to stick in the pocket and face that pressure ... And SMELL(BLOOD & A PRO SHOT)VIN Melvin Oliver is playing like a real animal ... GA's OC is ****ting himself this week ... trying to figure a way out of having to block 3.75 animals (Oliver, Wroten & Williams ... with their littler evil minion Pittman) ... Anyway, if they get a few clean "decleater" hits & sacks on Shockley ... he's hobbling or carried vertically out of there ... And then it's "Joe Marachino" and handoffs the rest of the way for UGA Either way ... no way GA scores more than 14 in this game. LSU 27 GA 13
If there is no rushing/passing balance, a good defense will just lay back in the nickle and dime and give Russell no open receivers.
