Check out the New Number Uno team in the country next week. I think LSU lost to them by 1 POINT.

    great game tigers!

this game was won because of Tiger hustle, determination and CJB.

the turning point was clearly when cjb went to doubling davidson. he was looking great in the first 10:00 then when double-teamed couldnt pass out. clearly on O, cjb told them to stop settling for 3s and start flashing to the high post. getting glen or tyrus with the ball there really opened things up. cjb also tried the high screens (worked only a little) and the baseline screens off the ball with some success, but its really hard to make that cross court pass.

dmitch and tmitch hit some outside shots.
GD and TT had solid games.
but the player of the game should be dmitch for the D he played on steele. he couldnt shake dmitch and didnt do much.

this game was huge for this teams development because i think this is the first time theyve overcome a significant deficit. more importantly, experience solving the 2-3 zone against a talented and well-coached team is invaluable.

looks like a team with a smart big man will give LSU problems. we saw what davidson could do if he could pass out of the post. armstrong (UCONN) lit up LSU in the 2nd half (i dont know what boone was doing).

this teams nemesis will be a veteran, well-coached team that may not be talented. they will hit 3s, play zone D and pass well. shouldnt be too hard to get dmitch and/or TT in foul trouble.

    SEC title is very possible.

SEC title is very possible I agree. Who remains on the schedule that LSU can't beat?

Does anyone realize that LSU was down 19-8 and was eventually was up 62-46? From about the 8-10 minute mark in the 1st half, there was a 43-28 turnaround that was a dominating stretch of play by the Tigers.

DMitch played great D on Steele and put up great number on offense as well. TT was not on his normal game. Bama went zone when he was in the game and it seemed to take away TTs aggresiveness on the offensive glass, atleast in the first half. He ended up with a double-double but he only had 6 points by the time the game was decided.

Hendrix was the guy killing the Tigers early in the game. Davidson made some nice plays on offense and had some very nice blocks on D but he was taken out of the game by Davis. Reflecting a trend for the season, the LSU defense has taken away the #1 and #2 options for the opposing teams' offense and made the other guys on the team score.
