We'll beat you again. Bama's got some good young players though.

GT is a terrific defender...one of the best in the SEC out on the perimeter. He scores off of his defense, and one of these days those outside shots of his are going to start falling.

Yea today I must say GT played well. Maybe CTIII will help him with his shots, making him an all around player. Also, not sure if you caught the game Saban, but the timeouts in the dryspell were for TV not Brady calling them. :dis:

Is that supposed to matter? What matters is the coaching that gets done during the timeouts... not who called them.

Come on man you know it matters. When LSU went on a 4-0 run time out Bama, then they took the lead with a 6-0 or 8-2 run. Brady still didnt call a timeout, but we threw the ball away or a foul was called. TV timeout. I mean you have to call a timeout after a 6-0 run in a close game.

I'm not so sure about that. We're pretty tough in Coleman, especially in big games. This will be a revenge-type game and I anticipate 15,000+ to be on hand! I can't wait already...

As for our young players, Hendrix showed a little today. When he shot that fade-away over Baby, I looked at my grandfather and asked "Did that really go in?!" I think Gee has the most potential though. He's going to be better than Winston. He just needs to stay out of foul trouble...

That's nonsense....Phil Jackson is notorious for letting his players try to work out of the run put on by the opposing team...as is Coach K. If the team does not appear to be able to stop the bleeding on their own, you call a timeout. I've been a critic of Brady for a long time, but it was a good game today.

I thought the turning point in the game wa when Gottfried got callled for the technical. I don't know what was going on but after that, at about the 7 minute mark, bama called a time out and the TV focused on bama players Davidson and Hendrix coming off the floor. It looked like they were angry with each other and had little testy exchange of word.

Yeah I noticed that too...But right out of the commercial, JD thew Hendrix a lob for an easy basket. The tech did hurt, but I dont think the jawing between them really had any bearing on the game.
