I also attended the Miss St. game last week and I agree, they are a great crowd! Everyone was very kind and wished us good luck. A nice, laid back atmosphere. I was even tailgating by the fraternity houses and we had no trouble at all. I would recommend anyone who wants to go to an away game give them a visit. Their campus is beautiful as well, very clean, and lots of green space. I really had a nice time.
I was at this game and witnessed none of that. We were pretty much ignored by their fans with the exception of a few women after the game. We were blasting Miles for screwing up the end of the game. They told us "ya'll have a good coach. give him a break." I told them "he's a good coach...for Y'ALL!"
I make more noise than a cowbell, so it wasn't really a problem for me. Plus, they do a pretty good job of not ringing them during play time.
Very nice to hear. It's getting so ugly out there in this old world it's good to hear a good word about our fellow humans. Thanks for the uplifting note.
