I just made up the marinade as I sat here. Just part of the joke to make you think... "what is that guy doing?"

I actually dig a well cooked squirrel, but if I tried to cook it, I would end up at Popeye's...

never ever heard of squirrel with potatoes.

almost always cooked it at the camp or at home like sabanfans recipe.

and many of the old ones crack open the skulls with a spoon and eat the brain. i pass on that. i dont like the yellow nutria looking teeth smiling at me in the plate.

has anyone eaten a rat? i mean i know a squirrel is just a tree rat so i assume its similar in taste if cooked right.

never fried a squirrel either but fried rabbit is really good.

anyone eat a robin jambalaya or stew lately? probably not. the kids dont hunt those anymore. how about a puldoo or gros bec? puldoo (poldoo?) aint so good when you dont know how to cook/clean it.

    I don't do brains.

A rat eats sh!t, garbage, carrion...anything that doesn't eat it first. A squirrel eats nuts and berries. It's like the difference between possum and Kobe beef.

I had poule deau gumbo in November, Gros Bec and Macque Choux a month ago and red breasted "chawk" jambalaya last week.:thumb:

Yep, but we remove the tail and fly it on our pickup truck antenna.
