does anyone else hear this song in their heads right now: ha ha ha ha ha ha ha a$$hole, a$$hole! The only good thing that can come from this is IF (really big IF) Saban does decide to pursue the NFL after the bowl game, we have an excellent coaching candidate that will for sure accept the job just to spite the AD at Florida. That is the only good I see here... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...........
Re: Re: Godfather II I merged the two characters for this mock meeting, since there's really no need for both to speak and Muschamp seemed to fit both parts well. SPURRIER: I'm just a retired ball coach living on a pension. I came back to vote in the Gainesville mayoral election because they wouldn't give me an absentee ballot.
Now he says he's gone. What a freaking soap opera. I say good riddance to the visor queen. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A41721-2003Dec30.html
Found this on the Fireronzook.com message board. This just in on Spurrier -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It says in the end of the article in the Washington Post online that "Spurrier said he will take a year off before seeking a college coaching job." So, next year at UF is going to be some sort of twisted, backward looking agony as half our fans root for us to lose so Spurrier can come back. Oh joy. Thats cool we will have home feild advantage when we get their lol
I dont see spurrier going back to Florida. I think he will look for new challenges. Florida for Spurrier is a been there and done that. I wouldnt be surprised to see him at another big time university with some potential. Maybe Bowden will be stepping down after next year. Spurrier to the hated rival? hmmmmmmmmmm Or maybe Penn State? Geaux Tigers
Re: Re: Re: Godfather II So, do you think the Stoops (Rizzotto) brothers have Spurrier's backing? I'm trying to work Mack Brown into a Frankie Pentangeli spot here, but I can't remember all the lines verbatim like you can.
