Springsteen sucks! Sings as if he is passing a fucking kidney stone, writes a bunch of babbling bullshit and the sheep jump right on it because he is "The Boss" cough cough horseshit. I agree with @CajunlostinCali the band is great, if only they could kick his worthless ass out of it.
Funny pictures won't change anything. Springsteen still sucks. He sucked in 70 and he is probably worse today. For the love of God what is with those faces he makes when he is trying to sing, maybe he is passing a kidney stone after all.
Maybe Springsteen was everything people say he was back in the day, but this makes me want to rip my ears off: Now this - THIS - is an example of a band that just keeps getting better with age:
@mctiger oh I have to disagree there. I saw RUSH on Palladia a week or so ago and oh my God was it painful to listen to. Geddy just doesn't have it anymore. Band still tight, NP can still bang on the skins but it was literally one of the worst vocal performances I have ever heard. I felt sorry for him. But thank you, I was coming on here to post that those bastards had that stupid We Are The World song stuck in my head and I couldn't get it out. Now I'm channeling my inner @lsu99 and I'm listening to "Temples of Syrinx" in my head and it is SO much better than Springsteen.
@shane0911 Well one thing working in Rush's favor as they get older is that Geddy's vocals were never really the selling point of their music. I've always felt he tries to sing too far over the top when performing live and it hurts the sound. But the musicianship of all 3 (Alex is the most underappreciated guitar player ever, IMO) keeps getting better. Alex was quoted recently saying they will tour again in '15.....please come to South LA!!
