    Can anyone tell me why the LSU Spring game is not going to be televised for the 2nd straight year? Lots of other big name teams are planning on it (Nebraska had their game yesterday), yet there are no plans to televise LSU? Is that fair to fans who can't come to the game?

    Only a handful of teams get their spring games on TV national per year. I assume it will be tape delay on Cox like the previous years.

    2012 SEC spring game attendance:

    * Alabama: 78,526
    * Arkansas: 45,250
    * Georgia: 44,117
    * Auburn: 43,427
    * Florida: 38,100
    * Tennessee: 35,42
    * South Carolina: 34,5131
    * LSU: 33,000
    * Ole Miss: 25,000
    * Mississippi State: 22,604
    * Missouri: 18,614
    * Texas A&M: 15,000

    LSU 8th now, if it's televised how far do we fall?

    Cause it's a meaningless practice. Even more meaningless than an LSU vs UL GAME, maybe?

    But we can score a touchdown on our defence USL hasn't scored a TD in Tiger Stadium in a hundred years.

    EDIT: I looked and seen that they did score a TD on us Back in 1924.

    my point is tell everyone how meaningless the spring game is. even compared to an USL game ( I will never call them by another name). except that there is a game day atmosphere when USL comes to town.

    What makes LSU so important that they get their spring game televised after finishing outside of the top 10? Gotta have either the ranking or the legacy and LSU has neither. Not putting LSU down, but the rest of the country does not consider LSU among the pantheon of college football world.

    Has more to do with out spring game schedule. LSU had many spring games televised over the last decade. National TV ratings for all of our televised games wouldn't support your last comment. Just how it is.
