Simply put, I did not emphasize my opinion as fact. That appeared to be what you were doing. To me, it would seem as though Saban has indeed been content here at LSU. I would not be able to say that for sure though. Like I said, it was the way you said it. I told you I likely reacted like that because of countless other posts by people stating how they know what Saban thinks, etc etc etc. As for your statement being based on observation and mine not.... I believe both of our statements were based on observation. Saban spoke with the Bears last year. He has friends within the Bears organization. He respects these people. Saban also has friends within the current coaching staff at miami, along with friends in their front office. He is now speaking to Miami. To me, based on these observations..... Saban is speaking to these teams, which include some of his personal friends. Some people make it out as if Saban speaks to every NFL team each year with a coaching vacancy. That is certainly an exagerration. His name is mentioned by the media a lot, yes. However, the teams he has actually publicly said he's spoken with are teams in which he has ties/friends there.
Hopefully he will understand that after reading my next post and next time I am in Houston I'll buy him a beer. :thumb:

Fair enough and I definitely don't want to fight about this stuff.... I didn't mean for mine statement to be read as fact...b/c I don't have any facts in this matter. I just have my beliefs. Damned right your boss would be right to assume you were not content. However, he would be dead wrong to come up to you and say: "Uscpuke you are not content here. I know this. You are fired. Move along to another job." By the way, I do not see how you asking that question of me makes you out to be a bad guy. Edit: apparently uscpuke's question/post to me was deleted.
