I agree...however, I don't think NS would have 1/2 the pursuit from the NFL withouth the success he's had at MSU and LSU (primarily LSU). I understand your point...but if he would have failed at the college ranks as a head coach after leaving Cleveland to go to MSU and then to the National Title at LSU, I don't think he would be 1/2 as sought after. Just my opinion.

It is my opinion. Yes. I do indeed feel that maybe he does this out of respect to his friends.

Note that unlike you I did not say it like this:

he only does these interviews out of respect to his friends

Wow, you're a bright one aren't you. Can I borrow some of your iq points? Andrew won't let me have any of his. Please.

You made the stupid statement that was antagonistic, not me.

Because I am such a good guy, I'll start another thread that will start some kind of education fund to provide you adequate help to get you to improve upon the obvious IQ deficiency. :yelwink2:

I would appreciate that...... since you obviously feel that my LSU education is failing me.........

You are wrong. It is you who made the antagonistic statement when you said:

Maybe I am just sick of people who are emphatic about what Saban knows or how Saban thinks.

You do not know if he is content or not. If you had said "Maybe he is not content in college" or "It appears as though he is not in"...

Bah, fuggit. Wasting my time on you.

    Happy Holidays.

    Raylsu...
I did not call you a name and I am NOT a pollyanna..whtever that means. Simply stating my opinion, and you can like it or not.

For the record, you check yourself, and to repeat myself, I will go with the Crawfish man and hope he is correct.

Saban is a great coach, with much success and will continue to be sought after time and time again. DEAL with it.

JUST SAY STAY!!! I will...

How hypocritical of you to call out other people when you do the exact same. My opinion is he isn't content in the college game. Your opinion is that he interviews with NFL execs out of loyalty and respect for his friends. Obviously, neither one of us know Nick Saban...b/c if we did, we wouldn't be pontificating about what is going to happen on this message board. However, you conveniently like to call out this lack of knowledge of intimate details around Saban's thoughts on others, but then make statements in the same light.

I made a statemtent based on observation. You made a statement based on what you would like to think is happening. Who has less ground to stand on?

Happy Holidays to you as well.

I don't come here to argue with people. I am an alumus of LSU and I grew up on LSU football. I love LSU. I want Saban to stay as much as the rest of us; however, I will not sit here and let people attack me in an antagonistic manner. :lsug:

***one more note for the record. It usually is not the education that fails the individual, it is the individual that fails the eduction.

LSUGRAD was making the assertion you stated your opinion as fact as you did. He did not.

Not really semantics but its close.

This tends to happen anytime something other than really, really good things are stated about the coach or LSU football. Bandwagon gets thrown around a lot around these parts. It should not be long until someone launches that insult your way.
