I agree wholeheartedly with the poster upthread who said even if the play had been ruled a catch all that would have meant was the ND would have had one more first down. Now PP7's INT at BDS where he left a divot IN THE FIELD OF PLAY that looked exactly like me trying to hit a 5 iron off the fairway? Yeah, that call could well have changed the outcome of a game. As much as it pains me to say it, the Irish got their tiny green leprechaun asses handed to them by that awful crimson elephant and its dwarf trainer and the result would be the same 12 games out of 10.*

The Colt McCoy hit was legal and brutal and changed the game without a doubt. But I don't the connection between a game changing tackle and the assertion that AMAB is afraid to fight. That hit shows exactly the opposite.

*Yes, I said 12 our of 10 because the Gumps would figure out a way to add a couple of wins to that series.

Sorry Smiley all that ND got settled in was getting mashed. That play would not have change one thing on the LOS and that is where the game is played.

 

Well, you have fun with that. I hate AMAB with every fiber of my being and hope they go down to crushing defeat no matter what they're competing in -- be it the BCS NC game or tiddlywinks -- but there's no way one more first down would have changed the ultimate outcome of that beatdown.
