    Pryor was much bigger...6-5/240

    Braxton Miller is 6-2/215

I remember they split Pryor out wide one play and he looked like an incredible WR with the catch he made

But i don't remember Pryor looking like a natural passer, he didn't have that smoothness as a passer...and Pryor i didn't think was that great of a runner

You look at Braxton Miller on the other hand, and you can see why he was top 5 in Heisman voting last year...

I noted no disrespect. Getting manhandled and abused for 4 quarters had to do with a perceived blown call for a first down? I say perceived, he was juggling the ball, that is why it was an incomplete pass. Lets talk about ND passing philosophy against the Tide. So kelly says, we got this freshman QB, who runs better than he passes. Lets run passing patterns deep, that take forever and one more thing, lets keep throwing the ball against the best DB in college football. That abortion of a championship effort starts with Kelly. But I would leave plenty of room for Bama, they took no prisoners.

Had Eifert made that catch, Notre Dame would have had one extra 1st down and the score would still be the same. Bama took ND to woodshed. 35-0 at one point. If ND is as good as you say they are, one missed call doesn't make them go down 35-0.

Bama definitely still could have beaten UT in 2009 with Colt McCoy, we'll never know.

That Bama -ND game was like watching a bulldozer in a shoving match with a ford.

Terrelle Pryor's last season at OSU:
    2772 passing yards
    65% completion rate
    8.6 yards/attempt
    27 TDs
    11 INTs
and 754 rushing yards with 4 TDs
    on 135 rush attempts

Braxton Miller last season at OSU:
    2039 passing yards
    58 % completion rate
    8.0 yards/attempt
    15 TDs
    6 INTs
1271 rushing yards with 13 TDs
    on 227 rush attempts

He may not have had the running numbers because he didn't have the offense built around him running. I watched a lot of his games and he killed teams with his scrambling ability. 6'5 240 lbs and a 4.36 40 yard dash speaks for itself. I would still take Pryor as a college QB at this stage but Miller could be better by his senior year. Pryor just gets a bad rap for his reputation and bailing on the team.

    Pryor threw it more:

    T. Pryor
    Junior - 323 att (8.6 yds/att), 27 TD, 11 INT
    Soph - 294 att (7.4 yds/att), 18 TD, 11 INT
    Freshman - 166 att (7.9 yds/att), 12 TD, 4 INT

    B. Miller
    Junior - this season
    Soph - 254 att (8.0 yds/att), 15 TD, 6 INT
    Freshman - 157 att (7.4 yds/att), 13 TD, 4 INT

    Miller ran it more:

    T. Pryor
    Junior - 135 att (5.6 ypc), 4 TD
    Soph - 162 att (4.8 ypc), 7 TD
    Freshman - 139 att (4.5 ypc), 6 TD

    B. Miller
    Junior - this season
    Soph - 227 att (5.6 ypc), 13 TD
    Freshman - 159 att (4.5 ypc), 7 TD

Pryor's problem was he had a awful game every year that cost OSU a loss...

Junior year - horrible game vs Wisconsin gave OSU its only loss of the season

Soph year - horrible games vs Purdue and Southern Cal gave OSU its only 2 losses of season

Freshman year - horrible game vs Texas cost OSU a loss in the Fiesta Bowl

So you're saying he had horrible games against the only good teams he played in his career with OSU? Shocking.

I don't have a dog in this fight...I just thought your argument here is a little weak.

My one observation for the urban buckeyes is the amount of hits the QB takes. Purdue nearly destroyed his spleen. That ain't tebow. With so much evolving around miller on every play, I know what my defense would be aiming for.

To be fair he also had some damn good games against some pretty good teams. Teams that are probably better than the teams he lost to. And he lead his team to BCS bowls every year. They lost to a damn good Texas team his freshman year but beat an also damn good Oregon and Arkansas his next two years. Arkansas beat us that year. We weren't great by any stretch in 2010 but it was a 10 win season.

With sCUM coaching I'd take him over Miller for the simple fact he's a big ass dude with the same skill set. Good defences will take Miller's head off. You have to think about it before you tackle Pryor, just like Cam Newton.

Anyway, given the opportunity, OSU is not beating Bama...or any of the top 6 teams in the SEC. sCUM might have the experience factor and that's important, but he still doesn't have the horses he had at Florida. They should be damn good though.
