I've voted for more Republican presidential candidates than you have. In fact, I can't recall ever voting for a Democrat.

We are so divided now that I am not sure we can get our country back.

So the difference was that everyone knew two things about W’s actions. First it was from the heart and not artificial. His speech was genuine and did unite the country. Second it would be followed up with real action. It was.
Trump’s act was just that an act. It was in response to tweets laughing at him for having to go into the WH bunker the night before. BTW I don’t hold that against him as I’m sure he had no choice because of Secret Service rules. It was to save face and he did nothing to reassure or unite the country. Secondly no one believes he will do anything else to follow up. Like everything else he’s done it was for him and his ego only.

So as long as both sides stay in their respective corners and damn anyone who tries to find common ground you’re right. If you expect 100% agreement you’ll fail.

On some very important things there is no common ground and never will be unless enough leftists wake up and come to their senses. How do you carry on a meaningful conversation with somebody totally out of touch with reality?

There are some things I will never compromise on. Number one with a bullet is our second amendment right to bear arms.

Where Trump is concerned, it won't matter if he "follows up"- and speaking of that, follow up in what way? He talked about sending the military into some of these cities......would that make you happy if he did that? But again, it doesn't really matter. For Trump's opponents, the problem is his existence. There's nothing he could ever do that will satisfy them other than die.

They would be pissed at him for dying. It would make them have to find somebody else to hate

Sick of the cry for unity and coming together. This has not one thing to do with unity and coming together it's simply good against evil. Stop your BS no matter what Trumps says is wrong to you. Stop trying to be on 3 sides of a 2 sided issue. Everytime I have hope for you the real Rex I mean Winston shows up.

Great party you have aligned yourself with
