the book publisher has no responsibility to publish shit. neither does twitter. you can write the NYT times with an opinion and they dont have to publish it. or they could publish it with annotations about how stupid it is. same with twitter. they can restrict that material by never publishing, or deleting it from their book or newspaper of platform. because they OWN THE PLATFORM.

I've already stated I do not think that twitter should be protected from Civil Libel when they edit a users post incorrectly and it causes damages, such as damage to a political campaign.

Currently, they still have protection.

twitter didnt even edit his post, or censor it. they added a statement to it. they could delete it if they want, its their site.

 

When they add a false fact check next to it I consider that editing. Also, they do censor them. You will often see many of his as "tweet unavailable".


I never miss a Trump tweet. I like to stay informed with the most correct and up-to-date information on making our country great again.

we as americans are free to say whatever we want and mock people and say they are stupid. there is no such thing as damaging the campaign. a campaign is not a thing you can protect! if i hurt your reputation by saying your policies are stupid, and your campaign suffers, good for me, i am winning my campaign and you are losing yours.

if trump gives me a photo of himself, and i display it, and i draw a mustache on it, and write "this cheetoh face is a nigger and a faggot", thats my right. thats what twitter can do as well. if trump submits a post to them, they can display it, not display it, shit on it, type it out and wipe their ass with it, etc. even if people see it and laugh and it "hurts the campaign".

however, if i lie and say you are a murderer, and you are not, you can sue me for defamation. and you can sue twitter as well. they are not protected from this. they are just like any other entity.
