Specifically, What do you like or dislike about Trump?

Right. They delete or add content to the presidents tweet to offer a different viewpoint, but let Twitters own employees call Trump a NAZI and leave it up. They dont even follow their own TOS.

 

We are NOT talking about random peoples post. We are talking about Twitters editing peoples posts, their own post, and following their own TOS.

They are editing and creating content hiding behind a platform. Facebook doesnt even do that.

of course it is ok! they can do whatever they want. thats the whole point of this country we say whatever we want. they can give the president a platform or not, or put up cartoons of him looking like an ape, or not, or say he is a dumb dummy face.

 

phone service is a highly regulated utility. microblogging services are not. because they are not the same. twitter, like a newspaper, has no responsibility to publish you, or the chinese communist party, or trump. a newspaper can be fascist if it wants.

again, twitter is a private company and can block trump just like this site can ban me for whatever reason. they could make a whole new site just to mock me

 

would this treatment be ok with you if they simply updated their TOS to say they can do whatever they want?

 

thats not what trump is doing, he is moving to hold them responsible for publishing content they didnt post. thats what they were protected from. thats what was unique about them relative to a publisher. they are protected, for instance if i go on twitter and do crazy shit. thats my responsibility, not twitter, even though its on their site.
