1. Poor, bitter liberals.

  2. Or that McCain was a very unpopular choice to run against obama.

I can not argue with you here. You are very correct.
  3. Who is bitter?
  4. I think what got Obama elected was Sarah Palin and John McCain. She was an idiot that was only popular with Fundies, and, until the election, McCain never had enthusiastic support from the Republican base.

Poor candidate choices + George Bush killed any chances the Repubs had.
  5. i was shocked that romney didnt get the nomination. he was clearly the class of the group, and when the economy went to pot he wouldve had a good shot at O.

  6. Look how bitter you are, and Obama got the most votes. I could imagine how rankled you'd be if he'd won the Bush 2000 route.
  7. I would call those percentages pretty bad. I would reserve "pretty pathetic" for the Democrat-controlled Congress that would love to have numbers that high.

The real story of this country has less to do with Bush and Obama than it does with the nut jobs really running this country into the ground. Everybody can list their top 5-10 but even if you're a die-hard, bleeding-heart liberal, you can't leave Pelosi, Reid, and Frank off your list. There's the real reason this country has had so many problems the last few years.

Once again the Democrats have failed to understand that the Reublicans were voted out because they screwed up and NOT because voters thought that Democrats had any answers. You don't vote for a Democrat if you want things to improve...you vote for a Democrat to force the Republicans to clean up their act. :thumb:

"And I assure you, Obama isn't nearly as unpopular as Fox News is making him out to be."

And I assure you, Obama isn't as credible or experienced as CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, and MSNBC are making him out to be.
  8. I always get a response for proof so I would love to know where this number comes from. It's obviously not the norm in New Orleans.
  9. Well, what numbers do they have? Let's see it.
So what, exactly, did they do that sent the economy into a tailspin, that forced the invasion of Iraq on the public, that caused our military to torture prisoners, that degraded civil rights, or that caused so many scandals among Bush appointees? If you're going to make outlandish statements like that, you should be prepared to substantiate them. Just sounds like typical neocon angst, to me.
So then, by this logic, wanting the repubs to clean up their act doesn't classify as 'wanting things to improve' either. Got it.
    I wouldn't know.
  10. You don't say?
