Fair enough Red55. SL2 is a good vistor and my intentions weren't bad, but a congrats is in order given his overconfidence.
What's forgotten is that the game should have never been that close from both perspectives. Georgia missing field goals and not taking advantage of field position. LSU not being to put away Georgia with Mauck's fumble and the screen play. The best thing from a LSU perspective I believe was the play in the late 3rd into the 4th quarter. That's when championship teams line up to play and LSU certainly did that. I'm a LSU fan, so I could just as easily say that the score should have been 17-3, which it really should have been.
An even better perspective is that LSU did not play as good as they are capable of on offense and still came away with the W against a great team. That speaks volumes about how good we are especially considering the defensive performance we put forth.
I agree about the lack of respect. I mean Arky catapulted up the polls for a nothing win after Texas in two weeks. Look where we were last year after beating Florida, I don't think we were in the top 10 at all. About Southlink, he has been an ass this whole week and in times past. Look at what he posted on AUNation. Just validates LSUTigah's point. The whole week he would not hear any criticism. No no, Georgia is a perfect team that will not be beat by LSU. So up yours Southlink and screw you for coming on OUR board and dissing LSU. Hope you respect us now punk. Southlink can disappear for all I care. At least I respected Georgia and still do. The score could have easily been 17-10 Georgia and not LSU. Here's to a call for some respect! GEAUX TIGERS!!!
Southlink is OK. He had a few of his Georgia buddies around last week and got caught up in the whole thing. I told you to show a little humility SL. Now you'll have to take a few lumps but you can take it.
Oh come on. I said that entire thing in jest. Just go look at my other ramblings on the board. I even promised the USC and CU game. LOL, some people really need to chill out. Go read back on what I wrote against USC if you want comedy. I am still not sure why I was called out for something so pointless as a joke on an Auburn board but if it means that much to someone, I guess so. I put on here, on SECF, and on the AU board that I thought UGA would win 29-20. I was wrong and have pretty much said that I have in other posts.
But where's the congrats SL2? You came here and predicted a win and on other SEC boards you guaranteed a win, yet no congrats that the better team won. Yes, UGA was w/o Gibson and Watson, missed FGs, had dropped passes, a fumble by Greene, yada, yada, yada, but UGA was one fluke screen play away from being totally dominated and not even scoring a TD. Forget not about an LSU blocked FG, several dropped passes and a fumble by Mauck in the red zone. LSU played a soft schedule pre-UGA, UGA played better competition in preparation. Now we know, unless you still think we haven't played much competition. All things considered, the better team won, you know it even though you've yet to accept it. By the way, tell all the other cowboys on dawgvent who ran their mouth that UGA didn't lose the game but LSU, the better team, won the game. If you can't say congrats like a man then...oh well, keep coming back b/c we're gonna serve some more humble pie.
Dude, I have said good job on like several threads on here. Is there something specific you want me to do like kiss your feet? I am not sure as to why you continue to beraid me as if I had some vedetta against LSU
