Saban is a piece of work. Instead of just accepting he got outcoached and his players outplayed, he always has a little jab to throw in there. Last night he congratulated LSU on the win, but followed it up with, "sometimes we beat ourselves too much." The reality is Alabama currently has a lot more talent on its roster than LSU, and on paper, the game shouldn't have been close. It kills him to admit that he just got knocked out of the college playoffs by a team that has a new coaching staff, a plethora of transfers and a talented group of true freshmen in Perkins, Campbell, Jones and Taylor. There's no arguing that CBK clearly did a better all-around job Saturday night. Although I don't see it happening, I would love to see Ole Miss beat Alabama next Saturday just to shut Saban up. Of course, I'm sure he would find some snide comment to put the blame on someone else other than himself.
Fuck Saban and what he says. He’s not gonna be in the mix this year- let him die peacefully for this yr. Next yr we’ll be even better so that mudda phucker better pack his got dam linch when we het there.
Truth is Alabama is still a formidable team. The gap between them and the rest if the SEC has narrowed and last night was gone. Going forward Saban may just retire.
In Nick's mind, since "we beat ourselves," credit for the "win" goes to......................Alabama (on behalf of LSU). And THAT is how Nick gets to sleep at night!
We need Alabama to beat Ole Miss next week so we don’t have to win both remaining SEC games. But another Bama loss would be fun to watch.
