I can't believe I forgot about this one, but it was playing in the arena during yesterday's hockey match. "Cotton Eye Joe" is the worst song ever.
I am generally a fan of Ronnie Milsap, saw him in concert at Harry Smith Lodge which used to be a small venue in this area. He has a song called "If You Don't Want Me To / The Freeze". It is a traditon in our area for this song to be played at wedding receptions ( as well as Cookie and the Cupcake's "Matilda")not sure if thats true anywhere else. Every female at the reception and every male fighting not to be a female then gets on the floor and line dances to this song. That makes my skin crawl. I banned the song from my wedding reception until after I left.
So what did you do in the 90s?...arguably the worst decade in music history. My list includes anything considered a "line dance" song...especially Strokin! Also...Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down, anything by Janet Jackson, and any song Mariah Carey attempts to scream which is most of them.
that dam Miley Cyrus cong. not sure the name, or even what the hell she saying, but it's pretty horrid. that remake someone did about the Saints in Miami was equally brutal. and if hear that dam Get Crunk song one more time, i may castrate myself using a dull olive fork. prolly be less painful than that phucking song.
I'm not sure what Miley Cyrus song you're referring to but "The Climb" is her current hit. I don't have her CD or Taylor Swift's but considering the alternative of all the classless hip hop bad attitude crap...I'm pretty happy my girls are listening to MC and TS instead. A lot of the Saints songs sucked as everybody was throwing together something during the playoff run. Most would've failed miserably any year but this year but we were so excited about winning, we jammed out to everything even if it was crap. Please don't crunk yourself. :hihi:
not that one, although that would have been my answer if this thread was started a couple months ago. found it: YouTube - MIley Cyrus - Party In The U.S.A. - Official Music Video (HD)
my boys (5 and 8) are well versed in music they listen to: The Beatles (youngest one is infatuated with John Lennon) Jimi Hendrix The Who Jim Croce Led Zeppellin Bob Dylan 5 year old's favorite song (since before he was old enough to walk) has always been Sweet Caroline
Dude, Nootch beat me to it, but I knew he must've been referring to "Party in the USA." "The Climb" is SO 2009.
