Wow....that video tells me that even Pereira doesn't know what a catch is. Bryant controlled the ball with both hands. He got both feet down inbounds. Then he got the first foot down again. Then his left arm hit the ground as he lunged with the ball with his right hand. All of this before the ball hit the ground. How many "actions" have to be completed before a ball is ruled to be caught?" The clincher to me is what amounts to a step taken after both feet are established inbounds. At that point, shouldn't we be talking about him being tackled while trying to advance the ball, rather than still being in the process of making the catch? I'm sorry, but this call was worse than the "tuck rule" call, IMO. And I hate the Cowboys as much as I hate the Falcons and Alabama fans.
MC, you saw the ball hit the ground? Because I've watched that video a thousand times and I never see it actually touch the ground.
And that's what I don't get. Makes no sense to me especially being they didn't overturn a Green Bay reception that clearly hit the ground earlier in the game.
Where did you definitively see the ball hit the ground because no angle shows it. You can deduce it did, but that isn't video evidence that it did.
