Julian Edelman was hurt at the WR position. About 10 yrs ago he was a QB, turned WR in the NFL. David Sills is this years version, except he played WR in college for a couple years. Etling is a good football guy and the Pats are trying to keep him around, not too many practice squad guys traveled with the team for away games... Etling sure did. Etling may have been just a spare body for other QBs to throw to, he sure knew the routes by now.
