1. Have you actually watched the guy play on TV?

I have, and I haven't had a college player give me that, "Damn, he has the ball in his hands and some open space around him. He can go the distance" kind of feeling since Mike Vick.

I'm no SC fan, far from it, but Reggie Bush is sick.
  2. Two differences between AD and Cedric.

    1. AD was playing on Friday Nights last year (That makes his accomplishments much more attention grabbing.

    2. AD breaks about 2-3 very long runs every game.

    * except for the atm game when he seperated his shoulder and the following game against Nebraska when he was still injured and couldn't be productive.

I was a Reggie Bush hater. The first time I really sat down and watched him play was against UCLA this past weekend.

Damn, he's fast. On those big runs of his, he was pulling away from the DBs that were chasing him. Great player. I can't believe they don't start him at RB all the time. Apparently how they are playing him works for them.
  3. Is AP's (dont call me antonio perkins) dad still in jail? he seems like a quality kid. his mom must be a hell of a woman. whats her/his background?

yeah bush is a tad quick. explosive to say the least.
  4. I believe AD's Dad is going to be released in 2007, but I'm not positive. If that is true, he will be able to watch him play his senior season if he is still with the Sooners.

I can't remember why he is in jail. ESPN did a gig on AD and his family earlier this year. They interviewed him mom, step dad, and his real father who is in prison.

Apparently AD wasn't doing very good in school with his grades. His mother and step father stepped up to the plate and made him be successful at school to.
  5. maybe he's scott peterson's dad too?

I know his brother was killed by a drunk driver when he was 7 or 8. Read it an article at the beginning of this season but i dont remember it mentioning much on his mom and I was wondering what she's all about.

It said his brother was a couple years older and AD could never outrun him when they raced and how he thinks of him all the time, still. His dad gave him the nickname.

His dad was in a money laundering ring and had a long sentence. Glad he is getting out. Money laundering is legal for politicians, why not him.
  6. Don't base your judgements of Bush on the UCLA game.. thats like basing your judgemetns of Randall on the Arkansas game...both went off against weak opponents..
  7. Remember too that the USC players had an extra game to build up there stats, there's no way either one of them should win the Heisman. Arrington and Alex Smith and White should be the top 3 IMO.
  8. I don't think white should be in it due to peterson being as good or better overall. I guess i can see inviting him though. he has had a heck of a year.

Agree with the three, that's my 3. I just like to add stefon lefors cuz he gets little respect. I think Alex Smith deserves the prize. 540 yards rushing with those 10 tds includes negative yards rushing for sacks.

I wonder how many yards he was sacked for and what his total woulda been without them.
  9. I would tell you without a doubt Reggie Bush should be considered for Heisman. Having said that this team would not have won 8 games without Leinart at QB. He just made a commitment tonight that he is coming back for his Sr. season.

Regarding Bush he is truly the X factor for this team. I think most of the players on there team would tell you he one of the major reasons they are playing for a NC this year.

Bush is the next coming of Marshall Faulk.
  10. Would love to know what John David is thinking about now, I think USC was able to redshirt him this season though so he will still have 2 year of eligibility left after Leinart leaves but Sanchez will be well entranched in the system by then as well as the other All American JUCO QB they signed last season.

I agree with Bush being a fantastic player and with the fact that he deserves some consideration for the Heisman as I've seen some of his incredible plays, but I've also seen a few of the plays that he gets credit for where they threw a circle route out of the backfield and no one was covering him at all. Chow maybe should win the darn thing. and playing that 12th game sure helped his and Leinart's overall stats.
