Hey Tenn Rob, I drove a truck for 25 yrs. and never wore my or saw a trucker wear his hat like that. And I don't understand why anybody would rag Les for wearing a comfortable headset, especially in the desert heat where if you were wearing one of those bulky sets, you'd be sweating like crazy in 'em and besides, he didn't have to have somebody trailing him everywhere he went taking care of some damn wire, cluttering up the sideline.
I didn't have a problem with the headset (or the hat for that matter as much as just making an observation), but it did look like he was struggling to hear from it at times. I gotta believe the TS crowd is going to be louder than ASU's, so hopefully he'll get the kinks worked out of that as well as the kinks in his defense.
I think he wears his hat the way gunnery seargent hartman in full metal jacket would wear a baseball cap. that's the kind of coach i want. the hat's fine by me.:thumb:
i loved the hat. it gave him character. it showed what he was concerned with...football!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For lack of a better term, this thread is retarded. But I must admit that I did let out a little chuckle. Come on guys, this is our coach. The way some of you guys are ripping into him, you would think he's a rival team's head coach.
No kidding. Bo has given us plenty to bitch about. Do we need to drag (n.p.i.) fashion into the picture?
Nobody's ripping him. At least I'm not. Go back and re-read the first post in the thread. I freely admit it's a just a silly observation, but I don't want to come off like I'm ripping the guy. If it did, my apologies..
I know it was an attempt at light humor, I just would hate for the word to get back to Miles that LSU fans are now bagging on frivolous things such as the way he chooses to wear his hat.
